Part Time Opportunities

Daytime Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am -12:00 pm

Evening Hours begin at 5:00 or 6:00 pm 

and are 2-5 hour shifts.

Full Time Opportunities

Supervisors and General Cleaners shifts are 6-8 hours.

Level 1 Cleaning specialist

Qualifications: 

Cleaning experience preferred

​

Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning, including but not limited to: trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms. Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, window washing and other duties as assigned. Specific duties may vary depending on the List of Specifications required by the client at each location. 

  • Completing work to standard

  • Being to work on scheduled days and hours

Carter Cleaning Company will train you on the proper guidelines, procedures and proper use of chemical and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.

Level 2 Cleaning Specialist

​

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of general cleaning, hard floor care, carpet care, upholstery cleaning and window washing

  • Driving record with no major offenses

  • Must own a vehicle in good working order

​

Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning, including, but not limited to: trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices and conference rooms. Includes sweeping and mopping floors, stone care, carpet cleaning, carpet spotting, upholstery cleaning and other duties as assigned. Specific duties may vary depending on the List of Specifications required by the client at each location.

  • Completing work to standard

  • Ability to assist in training new employees and giving daily direction and work list

  • Must be able to read and explain MSDS sheets

  • Total knowledge of commercial cleaning, hard floor care, carpet care, upholstery cleaning carpet spotting ans window washing

  • Driving record with no major offenses

  • Must be able to read and explain MSDS sheets

  • Must be able to work without supervision

  • Must show good leadership skills

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for locations assigned by Operation Manager

  • Perform building walk-throughs and inspections

  • Training of new employees

  • Work with management on performance appraisals

  • Assign daily direction and work lists

  • Assist management in writing employee reviews

  • Replenish supplies

  • Maintain and repair equipment

  • Fill in for absent employees

  • General cleaning, including but not limited to: Trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms. Includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, window washing, buffing floors, stripping and waxing floors, stone care, carpet cleaning, carpet spotting, upholstery cleaning and other duties as assigned. Operations Manager

​

Qualifications:

  • Management experience

  • Customer relations experience

  • Sales skills

  • Total knowledge of commercial cleaning, including, but not limited to: trash removal, dusting, cleaninng restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms. Includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, window washing,buffing floors, stripping and waxing floors, stone care, carpet cleaning, carpet spotting and upholstery cleaning.

  • Must be dependable and be able to have flexible hours and work rotating shifts if necessary

  • Must have good communization skills and be able to speak clearly and correctly

  • Must be able to work without supervision

  • Must be able to work under pressure

  • Must show good leadership skills

  • Must be able to meet the rigors of the job

  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks

  • Must be knowledgeable in personnel and business problem solving

  • Must be able to conduct employee interviews and perform employee orientations

  • Must have experience in hiring, promoting/demoting and terminating employees

  • Must have a good driving record with no major offenses

  • Must have good writing/spelling skills

  • Must have good computer skills 

  • Knowledge of identifying surfaces and making recommendations for proper cleaning methods, systems and equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for specified locations and employees working in those locations

  • Perform building walk throughs and inspections

  • Responsible for operational activity: planning, directing, organizing and controlling all production

  • Schedule work and provide overall account management

  • Screen and hire job applicants, interview job applicants and perform orientations

  • Endure adequate supplies are available and accounted for

  • Client contact, customer relations and quoting prices for customers

  • Solving any problems/concerns that might arise

  • New account set up

  • Handle any complaints, concerns or questions from customers

  • Plan and prepare employee work assignments

  • Employee record keeping

  • Communicate with employees in order to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies. Refer matters to owner when appropriate

  • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary

  • Completing reports: accident, incident, damage, etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE/ HR ASSISTANT

 

Reports to: Office Manager

 

Lines of Promotion: Office Manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent reporting skills and administrative writing skills

  • Advanced typing and computer skills including knowledge of Google Business and accounting programs

  • Managing administrative process, organization skills and the ability to analyze a variety of administration information, reports, diagrams, charts, etc.

  • Advanced knowledge of office equipment. Includes computers, calculator, printers and other standard office machines

  • Advanced knowledge of suppl management and inventory control processes

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Professional approach to delegated administrative duties

  • Outstanding problem solving skills

  • Self starter and prides oneself on accuracy and time management abilities

  • Good work ethics, team player and takes direction well

  • Knowledge of communicating through social media

  • Knowledge of Human Resources procedures

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work of a varied nature

  • Provide office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies and monitoring administrative projects

  • Provides information by answering questions and requests

  • Handle phone calls and incoming email

  • Work with bookkeeper to insure a smooth flow of required paperwork

  • Assist with hiring, documenting, and maintaining employee records

  • Provide customer service/relations duties

  • Maintain a positive and responsive attitude with clients and co-workers

  • Serve as an assistant to the office manager. Assist with; budget preparations, accounts, bank deposits, maintain ledgers, pay bills, prepare financial statements and reports

  • Completes administrative requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative  project; expediting work results

  • Maintain products/supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed products/supplies; placing and expediting orders for products/supplies; verifying receipt of products/supplies

  • Enter inventory data, prepare inventory reports and account reports according to procedures

  • Arrange and/or assist in company events and functions
